GROUP ORGANIZES TO RESCUE AND REOPEN SCONA POOL
A newly formed non-profit group, The Scona Pool Community Foundation has been formed to rescue and reopen Scona Pool. They have submitted a plan to the city, started fundsraising and talked to various uniosn and businesses about getting the need repairs done at a discounted rate. They would plan to keep Scona Pool open until the new Rollie Miles Recreational Facility opens.
